Although there are no horses listed for sale at the moment, Mark Russell has a few horses in training on the farm for sale by private treaty. Each of these horses are being personally trained by Mark Russell. Mark does not employ others to train or ride his horses so that you may have the confidence that these horses have the quality of education you seek. Laurel is a 10 year old Thoroughbred mare who has never been raced. Laurel stands at 16 hands and is a solid chestnut with excellent conformation. She has a sweet temperament and is a joy to work with. She is a very feminine and elegant type with lovely balance, self carriage, and expressive gaits. She is very light and responsive and is easy to ride. Laurel is a proven broodmare and passes her lovely movement on to her foals. Laurel has all her basic gaits, shoulders in, and half pass.

Winchester is a 8 year old gelding who will give you the quietest ride you could ever imagine. Winchester is just over 16 hands and is a gorgeous dark buckskin. Winchester has a laid back, playful, and easygoing personality. He is uncomplicated, agreeable, and easy to work with, and instills confidence in his riders. He has very comfortable gaits and is calm and quiet on the trails. Winchester would make an excellent all around partner.

Moonshine is a 11 year old registered Appendix Quarter Horse Three Bars great grandson. Moonshine stands at a comfortable 15′ 2″ hands and is a beautiful solid black bay. Moonshine has outstanding conformation, has very light, elegant carriage and is soft and responsive. He is a very personable, good natured, kind horse with a sweet disposition who bonds well with people. He has an excellent work ethic and is a pleasure to be around. Moonshine is quiet and careful on trails. He has been shod but does very well barefoot in most situations. Moonshine has his basic gaits, shoulders in, and half pass.
