I will never forget the moment I knew I wanted to learn from Mark. Shasti was an old school horse with lots of baggage and she threw her head up when I reached for her halter. Mark responded with the words “don’t scare her” and put his hand on her halter. She melted into his hand. That began years of learning. I learned from Mark how horses think and how to communicate with them. My present horse, Daimler, has been with me for many years and was trained by Mark. Mark helps horses understand people and feel safe with them. The process becomes a full circle to allow for advancement with both horse and rider enjoying the experience.
